BlakUnity Terms of Service

Welcome to BlakUnity, a digital platform and social networking service created to empower Black creators by providing tools for expression, discovery, collaboration, and monetization. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BlakUnity.com, our mobile application, and all related services (collectively, "BlakUnity Services" or the "Platform"). By accessing or using BlakUnity Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to use BlakUnity. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 13 years old;
All registration information you submit is truthful and accurate;
You will maintain the accuracy of such information;
Your use of the Services does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
BlakUnity reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate or false.
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & SECURITY
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
Use a secure password;
Keep your password confidential;
Notify BlakUnity immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
BlakUnity is not liable for any losses or damages caused by unauthorized use of your account.
3. USER CONTENT
BlakUnity allows users to upload, share, and distribute content such as music, videos, photos, stories, and written materials ("User Content").
By posting content, you grant BlakUnity a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute your content for platform operation and promotion.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content and that such content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You agree not to:
Use BlakUnity for illegal purposes;
Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users;
Post content that is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive;
Violate the intellectual property rights of others;
Use automated systems to access or collect data from the Platform;
Attempt to interfere with the operation of the Platform.
5. MONETIZATION & SUBSCRIPTIONS
BlakUnity offers monetization features for eligible creators, including digital currency, subscriptions, and tipping. BlakUnity may retain a percentage of revenue generated through its services, as disclosed at the point of monetization.
All payment processing is handled through third-party providers. Users agree to their terms and policies.
6. TERMINATION
BlakUnity may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms;
Your conduct harms BlakUnity or any of its users;
We are required by law to do so.
You may terminate your account at any time in your account settings.
7. PRIVACY
Your use of BlakUnity is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share your information. Please review it at BlakUnity.com/privacy.
8. COPYRIGHT & DMCA
BlakUnity respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, contact us at:

9. DISCLAIMERS
BlakUnity Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall BlakUnity or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Baltimore, MD.
12. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
